Spite Apps · Last updated 24 June 2026

Spite Apps makes free, ad-free apps and games (including SpiteYatzy and SpiteScore). The short version of this policy: we don't collect your data.

What we collect

Nothing. Our apps do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no user accounts.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in the app — names, scores, game history, settings — is stored only on your device. It never leaves your phone: the apps request no internet permission and make no network connections.

Sharing between Spite apps

If you install more than one Spite app (for example SpiteYatzy and SpiteScore), they can share a player list and game results with each other on your device, so your names and stats stay consistent. This happens locally between the apps on your phone — nothing is sent anywhere.

Crash reports

If an app crashes, Android's built-in system (Google Play / Android Vitals) may send a diagnostic report to Google — but only if you've turned on "share usage & diagnostics" in your own device settings. The Spite app itself collects and sends nothing; this is handled by Android and governed by Google's privacy policy. We use these reports only to find and fix bugs.

Tips

Tips are optional and handled outside the app by Ko-fi and its payment processor (Stripe). If you choose to leave a tip, your payment is processed by them under their own privacy policies — the app never sees or stores your payment details.

Children

Because the apps collect no data at all, they are safe for users of all ages.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
